Founded in 1985, American Tool Service (ATS) has based its reputation on providing a quality tool at a competitive price. We have over 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing special cutting tools for the Automotive, Aerospace, and Orthopedic industries.
Our capabilities include the design and manufacture of special cutting tools made from carbide, carbide-tipped, high speed steel, high speed cobalt, and stainless steel materials. The types of special tooling we design and manufacture include but are not limited to; end mills, drills, step drills, core drills, subland drills, reamers, step reamers, key seat cutters, port tools, form tools, and tapered tools.
We also provide manufacturing and fluting services for medical drills, bone reamers, rasps, and other Orthopedic instruments.

Our core business is the design and manufacturing of special cutting tools. Our staff of highly skilled tooling engineers and sales engineers can assist you in developing a cutting tool for your specific application by examining and understanding your manufacturing process. By utilizing AutoCAD, we can help you design a tool to meet your manufacturing needs and specifications by presenting the tool in a precise blueprint format to assure consistency and quality.
These drawings can then be forwarded to you via email or fax for final print approval. This process enables both parties to be assured the tool we manufacture is the tool you want.
